    • Review: This card does the job. Installing it was a pain due to neither the cd nor StarTech's website being very well optimized, but it's in and seems to be running. For $15 I don't mind the non-deluxe install process, but people who aren't very confident in their tech skillz should know that it's a bit more demanding than the usual plug-and-play. I installed on a WinXP machine.

    • Worked right out of box

    • Review: Replaced a SB Audigy 2 card in an older Dell inspiron w/ Win XP. The card worked great right out of the box and the drivers installed w/out any problems. The directions didn't give the correct location for the XP driver on the CD but it was very easy to figure out and the picture of the back of the card was not the same as the actual inputs on the card. Again that was very easy to figure out and, after about 5 minutes I had sound again. Highly recommend this card for a simple, cheap, basic sound card.

    • Worked fine, good value.

    • Review: At my workplace this was used to replace the sound card on a piece of Honeywell process equipment. It worked fine and was easy to install. In the day & age of integrated sound cards, sometimes replacing the whole motherboard just for sound isn't the easiest option, so this card is a good option if you find yourself in the situation of a dead sound card but everything else is working fine.
