     - Review: Before my Cpu temp were up to 68C on a AMD Phenom X4 940 processor. Now it doesn't go past 50C, I'd say thats an improvement. The only thing I don't like is the fan speed adjustment knob, its a pain to get to at the back of the computer, but I can't move it anywhere else (i.e. the front) because of how short the cable is. Another thing is this fan is massive, I had fans on the side of the case on my computer that I had to relocated because of this fan.
Huge, Cool- Rating:
     - Review: Did I say huge!WOW! I have not done any tests to see how it is cooling, but from the size of this thing it has to be doing it's job. Just make sure you have a large enough case. Easy install, looks cooool and it cooools too.
Just awesome- Rating:
     - Review: General Overview:
This cooler fit perfectly on my quad core AMD Black Edition. I wasn't able to safely overclock my processor because of heat. It sat idle at 110 degrees which to me was unacceptable. I installed this cooler and had a 20 degree difference in idle temperatures. Under load was about 130-140 and it now hovers around 110-125. That to me is a BIG difference.
Pros:
Dropped my core temperatures dramatically. It looks awesome in my COOLER MASTER HAF 922 mid tower case and dropped almost ALL my temperatures including my Motherboards temperatures. I account this to the fact that this cooler whisks away the heat that would otherwise be sitting in the case before my fans took care of it. With this cooler it just blows the hot air right out of the back of the case. My case also had access to the holes to mount this cooler on the back of my motherboard so instillation was a snap.
Cons:
This is more of a warning THIS THING IS HUGE!!! I know you may look at this and be like, yeah I have room for this. But if you are even the least amount unsure of the room you have in your case I suggest going with a different cooler. I have an exceptionally wide case and I have only about an inch of space between the top of this cooler and the side of my case. If there is any doubt follow this advice, "Measure twice buy once". Measure out to see if your case has enough room. If you don't have access to the back of your motherboard where the screws are for the current mounting bracket instillation could indeed be a real pain. You would have to remove your motherboard to install this beast.
Conclusion:
This thing did exactly what I needed it to. My case was big enough to fit it and since I had access easily to the back of my motherboard installing it was more than easy. In all if you want the best in air cooling this is the cooler for you.
OK cooler- Rating:
     - Review: I bought this for my i7 920. This cooler will certainly do better than stock ones, but I cannot recommend it if you want to overclock your i7 to 4G or above. It cannot handle that well.
I tried every part I can get(3 CPUs, 3 thermal pastes like AS5, 2 mobos like asus P6X58D-E and P6X58D-Premium), tweaked every setting in the BIOS, but the CPU core temp just keeps high. With an ambient temp of 24C, core temp can go 40C/70C @ 4G, above 80 @ 4.2G.
It is acceptable, but there are better ones out there, such as venomous X.
btw, the fan is amazing! over 2100rpm with little noise:D
