  • Review: I ordered this memory for my first system build. Although I ran into roadblocks, the "working" RAM is great. My first issue was a bad mother board reviewed earlier. After that was replaced I continued to recieve blue screen shut down to prevent damage errors. I looked up the error message and learned that it was a memory error. After removing all but one stick, I was able to install Windows 7 Ultimate. I then, shut down and replaced the memory 1 stick at a time. The third stick produced the error. Overall, the memory works great, but the package it arrived in had some "internal" damage to the protective case holding the ram. I believe this was a Corsair problem, not Amazon. I have the system running with 4GB of ram now, and have requested replacement ram from Amazon. My 4 star rating is based on the packaging problems only as I would, and have, ordered this again.

  • Review: I put 3 sticks in my new built, works great.
I also have great expereiences with these solid memory in the past on other builds.
Corsair brand memory never brought any problem,
I has some bad expereience with failing A-Data memory, although replaced under warranty, but troubleshooting process is like chasing ghost.
Problem: After installed 1st 6gb on Asus ROG Rapageiii,I purchase another 6g, installed all 6 sticks and expect to see 12GB,
but only sees 8GB, called Asus, they said this is normal, this high end motherboard do not see all 12GB for this Corsair model,
there is compatibility problem, I'll say mostly from the motherboard.
So I have to unplug 6gb, to use on other build.
If anyone could tell me how to resolve this issue, it would be great.

  • Review: I'm not going to write much as there are plenty reviews that are long enough. I bought my first set in December 2009 and a second set in May 2010...five months later and both set work perfectly fine! No issues whatsoever in my setup. No bad sticks...rock solid in all my benchmarks.

  • Review: This is solid ram. I used to have problem with OCZ gold ram, which I was not able to overclock the ram at the specified frequency no matter what voltage I adjusted, so I decied to return the cheap OCZ ram. I am so glad that I choose to go with corsair ram, no hassle at all, I used i7 930 and asus p6x58d premium to overclock the ram to 1900+mhz without using any profiles.

  • Review: I bought 12 gigs (six sticks) of this memory for my classified mainboard and it works as advertised. Fast, cool, and seemingly indestructible.
