• Review: Easy install. Works great. Very fast. Using with Ubuntu 10.04(64-bit). I had no problems loading everything onto it, and it runs really well. Also, this drive is super-quiet! This machine is both my everyday computer and is part of my home theater. I can watch movies on it and not even hear the drive. Average read rate showing as 105.1Mb/s in Disk Utility benchmark test.

• Review: I have 2 previous generation ones in a raid, which still works after 2 years. But this new one died after only 1 month. I'm disappointed.

• Review: I followed the instructions precisely to install on a Windows XP machine. After much frustration, I was finally able to get the drive working. I have used the drive for a few weeks now and notice that sometimes it is not recognized by the computer once the machine is restarted. I would definitely not recommend this drive to any XP users.

• Fast, quiet, and very easy to install

• Review: It took about five minutes tops to pull out the old hard drive and put the new one in and it was my first time replacing a hard drive. Of course, it took a lot longer to put windows and all my programs back on but that's a given. The drive is quieter than the factory one and it seems quick although I haven't done any speed tests or anything like that.
