  • Review: amazon offered a sweet deal for this 1TB hard drive. it arrived quickly, installed easily, runs quiet, works great so far but i have only been using it for ~2 weeks. you'll need a SATA cable b/c it doesn't come with one. ours is partitioned into four 250GB 'drives' (music, movies, data and pics) to keep things running fast. in 1995, our first hard drive was 2GB and cost hundreds of dollars. LOL

  • Review: This is a great product.... the only bad thing is that there are no screws to install

  • Broken Package. Slow processing/shipping time

  • Review: The plastic packaging inside the box was cracked, and the drive was sliding across the box freely when i opened it. The drive seems fine, though i am nervous it might fail soon due to damage, i would return it but don't want the trouble. All my previous amazon items purchase have been perfect with no trouble. I don't want to be fussy either, but the delivery promised 3 days, i just want to note it took 10 days for delivery.

  • Review: I had no idea I was buying a HD that I could not figure out how to install in a Windows XP PC. Sellers need to make clear to people what they are buying and manufacturers need to CLEARLY explain how to format and install these things. Even after talking with WD, I was not able to use this in the XP system. I ended up putting it in a Windows 7 PC with no problem.
