  • Review: I am very impressed with this little gadget It creates a nice cool breeze that can be felt from arm length distance. I use it on my desk, bedside table, or even when I go out. The fan can also be powered by USB ports or wall adapters and the fan's ouput can be rotated. I like the white noise it creates and in the hot, dry Arizona summers, this is a nice way to cool off without having shooting high power bills.

I purchased one fan for each of my family members and can now raise the temp on my A/C by two degrees and yet it feels cooler than it did before. I highly recommend these little fan for portability, space, and effectiveness.

  • Review: I read the reviews both good and bad before ordering this item. I was a bit skeptical but ordered the product to try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the Handy Cooler. I suffer from Hyperhydrotosis (excessive sweating) and this immediately helps me cool down and stop sweating. I have used it both indoors and out. The batteries seem to last, but I have now ordered the AC adapter to use whenever possible. My only complaint is that to order additional sponges for the cooler a package of two that is offered is $9.95 and the shipping is as expensive - doubling the price of the replacements.

  • Not as great as I'd hoped.

  • Review: Slower delivery than I expected. In warm conditions, this works fine. If it's around 90 or more, not so great. The sponge that you wet dries quickly in high temps. It gives cool air within about a foot but not much further out. I was disappointed but still use it in the right circumstances.

  • Review: This fan is light weight and it has the ability to use batteries or USB. I would also assume that a compatible A/C adaptor could be purchased for it. This is less bulky that a typical fan and will the moist sponge it will cool the surrounding air to provide adequate relief. I would buy this fan again. As I write this review, my mom is roasting a chicken in the oven @ 350º F and it is already about 90º F outside, so I have the fan connected to my notebook and I have the wind blowing directly on my face, and it's refreshing, I don't feel hot at all. If you want you can mist your face with a water filled spray bottle (for women, if you are not wearing makeup) and let the fan blow it dry.

  • Review: The very first time I used this air cooler, I was really pleased. I was looking for something that would provide adequate cooling whilst staying outdoor. This air cooler, unlike the previous neck cooling systems, did as advertised. The cooling capability met my expectation. So far, I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality air cooler and don't mind paying a bit more for something good.
