There are two versions of the GTX 295. The original, dual PCB design and the updated, single PCB model that will replace the original dual PCB version. The only difference between the two versions is that one uses two printed circuit boards (each GPU is on a seperate PCB) and the newer model only uses one (both GPU's on the same PCB). The core clocks and every other specification are exactly the same.
